Inspired by Beaux-Arts architecture from New York’s Gilded Age, the hotel’s interior boasts such elements as a grand staircase, carefully selected artwork, and a musical fountain. Indulgent spa treatments, sumptuous cuisines, and memorable meetings await.
The hotel’s 234 world-class accommodations comprise 182 guest rooms and 51 signature suites, including a designer suite and its signature Royal Suite. Whatever the request, St. Regis Butler Service is available any time, day or night.
Above information is how the hotel presents itself on their website.
Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Warm welcome from the smiling Front Office Manager, Kritya and Ukranian Kate. I was offered a cold towel and a welcome drink before being escorted to the room by an Italian butler.
What I loved: The food, design and the well-trained staff.
What about the food: Fantastic food. I am very critical when it comes to food, but St. Regis has invested a lot of money in their F&B and deserves credit for it. Hiring several French chef is not common in any luxury hotel outside Europe and as a result, I had a great dining experience at Brasserie Quartier, their French signature restaurant. I can highly recommend the vegetarian risotto and finish off with their home-made ice cream. The restaurant is not cheap, but it is value for money as the food is better than signature restaurants at other 5-star hotels I've been in Dubai. You have to keep in mind that eating out in Dubai is expensive, and I can highly recommend to pay a little more and eat here as it is a safe choice. The service from the Indian and Portuguese staff was very impressive as well, and I wouldn't hesitate to compare the restaurant to Michelin-recommended restaurants in Europe. In direct comparison with St. Regis' French signature restaurants in Osaka and Singapore, it also comes out as the winner. Well done!
What about the service: Great service by the well-trained staff. They were not only well-trained and professional but also very friendly. Kritya, the Thai front office manager, gives you a great first impression of the hotel, and you are set for a great stay. Already before my stay, Candice and Nicolas had done an excellent job in arranging my stay and I, obviously, arrived very excited to experience this brand new St. Regis hotel. All around the hotel, I found the staff to be professional, attentive and talkative. I have already mentioned the restaurant staff, but would also say the kind attitude of the German girl at the business center and the guy at the pool giving me a bottle of water upon arriving at the pool. The St. Regis Dubai is a great example of an international hotel with many nationalities that actually works.
What about the rooms: Beautiful rooms with St. Regis standards. Reméde products in the bathroom, comfortable bed, freestanding bathtub, rain shower and great welcome amenities.
Number of rooms: 234.

Type of property: City hotel.
Location: Dubai.
Facilities: Outdoor swimming pool which I enjoyed in the morning before departure. Business center, meeting/business facilities and a spa. The only negative thing about my stay was a promised spa treatment at check-in. It was an error in their system, and they decided to not honouring their mistake. I wasn't happy about it, but that was the only negative thing I can say about this amazing hotel.
Complimentary internet: Yes and good speed. My test results showed a 2 Mbps download speed.
My overall impression: Great+ experience. I am pleased to see The St. Regis Dubai works from the beginning. It is among the best St. Regis hotels I have stayed, and it brings something different to Dubai. In a city where many hotels feel the same, The St. Regis stands out as a unique hotel and one I can't recommend enough for discerning travellers.
