Below is my experience based on a one-night stay at the property.
My arrival experience: Warm welcome before being escorted to the room.
What I loved: The ultra contemporary design.
What about the food: The breakfast buffet is OK, while the lunch has a good selection of local and international food. I enjoyed great Italian pasta for lunch, before leaving for The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street.
What about the service: Professional service from the front desk and attentive service at the restaurant. Attention to details, spotless clean rooms and a beautiful welcome amenity impressed me a lot. Definitely one of the better W hotels when it comes to both service and design.
What about the rooms: Ultra contemporary rooms, exactly as expected from a W. The soft, comfortable W Signature bed, the separate rainshower, the lovely Bliss products and a huge bathtub next to the bed.
Number of rooms: 349.
